The Dove of Steel (37)

“Hey, you. Cetran.”

Isaac awoke to a world of green. Great pine trees the size pillars covered the area around him, gently capped with white snow. Isaac could feel the odd, cold feeling on his back, so he must of been unconscious in snow for a few hours at best.

Standing over him with an impatient look on his face, was Judge Sulkoske. The Judge spoke in an almost fearful tone,

“Finally! We need to move fast, odds are they’re on their way, and they won’t enjoy your company.”

Isaac pulled himself out of the snow, which had tried to hold on to him like the welcoming grasp of death. Isaac pulled his fullblade out from the snow near him, and said in a voice that would of made the snow itself shiver,

“Who are they? And where is Linda?”

Judge Sulkoske sighed, then said,

They are Timerium Rangers, you know, the ones that even the Elves are afraid of due to their hunting prowess? Yes, those, and we need to hurry before they reenact the Elf-Hunt.”

“But where is Linda?” Isaac asked again. The Judge sighed.
