I began to flail, my movements shaking the leaves from the hedge.
“Shhh! Evy please!” I heard that soft voice and imediately let my body go limp. A faint sigh escaped from my throat.
“Oh Robin, my lord you scared me,” I smiled as his hand lifted from my mouth. “What are you doing here?” He leant down and kissed my red lips. I closed my blue eyes and breathed in deeply.
“I couldn’t stay away from you,” He suddenly rasped in my ear. I lifted my slender fingers and stroked his perfect face. Then I remebered.
“Robin?”
“Yes my dear,”
“I. . .I’m to be married,”
He suddenly pulled away and looked into my eyes, I could see his heart breaking in two.
“Married? To who? When?”
“Mr. Anderson, you know of Yalbrich manner?”
“Of course I know him!” Robin looked away, his green eyes closing. I wrapped my arms around him, my lips at his ear.
“I’ll always love you,”
“Will you?” He picked his gaze up.
“Of course,” My voice came out suprisingly strong. Robin turned and once again kissed my lips.
