A Royal for Unroyal
After a moment though Robin pulled away from me, making me playfully pout in anger and selfishness, “Did…did you not tell your father?”
“I couldn’t. As soon as I arrived home he had Redley come from the shadows and I was suddenly someone’s fiancee whom I not wish to be.”
This statement made him smile and enclose me in his beautiful arms. As he was embracing me he asked, “What does your father not approved of me?”
I scoffed, “He wants me to marry someone of royal blood and descent.”
Robin had his face in my dark ringlets of hair, freezing at that statement, “Why? You are not of any sort of royal descent so why should he care?”
“I wonder the same.” I looked down at my shoes while Robin continued holding me close.
That was until I heard the sound of Hannah and Hailey shrill voices, “Evelyn! Where could you be? Your carriage is here.”
I reluctantly pushed Robin away from me as he asked, “Can I see you again?”
I stared at him a bit before saying, “Of course,” and then I ran off to my fake life.
