very poetic, and sad, missing a friend, sort of, I mean the protagonists is pretty confident and serene, reminiscent, and yet it’s kind of ominous, those two crows back to talk, harbringers of, well, I’m not sure.

Wow what interesting characters..one whom we only hear about and dont see/hear.. I like how you spun this tale and the psotcards from the past and the eerie crows.. excellent.

Very well written piece- It seems like so normal, to miss a friend, but it hints at something more. Great job.
