Middle School Mayhem: Part 7
I walked out of homeroom with Eric by my side. He had the same schedule as I did so I decided to stalk, I mean follow him. He smiled when I asked what class we had next.
“I think we have science,” he replied. We walked silently down the hallway, keeping our distance so we didn’t look like we had a “thing” going on, even though I wish we did. Yeah, he had braces, and a few pimples here and there but he was awfully nice, and cute.
When we reached the science room I took a seat in the back of the room. Eric waved and met his friends in the front. I stared down at my feet. This day wasn’t turning out to be awful. Well, it could of been better.
Denise waved to one of her gal pals and entered the room. She glanced around to see if any of the “populars” were in the class, and when she realized it was only a bunch of nerds, she decided it was safe to take a seat next to me.
“Hey,” she said quietly. I looked up at her.
“Was the coast clear?” I asked. Denise sat down.
“Look, I thought about what I said”.
