Tears Fall Like Snowflakes
Winter couldn’t believe what she had just done. Hands gripping the steering wheel like her life depended on it, she fought back tears. She had just sealed her own fate. No matter what happend it would end in her death. Either Interpol or La’ Pretni would catch her and execute her.
Still, she was going to go through with her mother’s plan, no matter what she knew was going to happen. She was going to get on the plane, go to France, and try her hardest to kill a man she had never met before that she held nothing against.
As Winter swerved dangerously around a 18-wheeler a single tear fell from the inside corner of her eye. One after another, more tears fell onto her lap, soaking her skirt. Unable to continue, she pulled over.
