Tough Love~ Best friend
I stared back unresponsive. It was just another boring day in English. Snore. Sure I loved writing and stuff, but not when Mrs. Francis teaches. I can never get over the fact that she looks like a hamster.
She raised an eyebrow, determined to get me to look away. Haha, never Riley. I smirked. I inched my hand slowly towards my neck and her eyes bulge, knowing what was to happen.
I pulled the skin of my neck unnaturally far from where it belongs, a knack I learned not to long ago.
Riley hates it.
I watched as she shuddered and looked away. I started silently pointing and laughing at her, only for Mrs. Francis to glare at me. That made Riley go into a fit of giggles, making me smile.
I loved the sound of her laugh. It was higher, obviously because she’s a girl, but it was always full of heart.
I sighed and looked out the windows around the doorway, seeing the seventh graders rush on by.
It sucked being in love with your best friend.
