Tough Love~ not a emotional person
“Get into your groups,” the hamster of a teacher squeaked before scurrying back to her desk. Ugh. Our group was made of Macey, who was a total blonde, Ryan, an idiot who really doesn’t belong in the honors classes, and of course Riley. As soon as our groups turned to face each other Riley began, “Dalton guess what?”
“What?”
“I talked to Alec again today.” She added in this cute half-smile at the sound of his name. “Riley, let’s focus on the assignment,” I tried to change the subject quickly. Alec was this seventh grader that Riley met in like March or whatever and she was unhealthily infactuated with him. I was hoping he was going to be like Nigel, who called Riley ugly. I know I know, terrible thought to wish for. But this Alec is the only one that is in the way.
I mean, if it wasn’t for him, Riley wouldn’t like anyone else and then I could ask her out or something.
“Jeez, what’s your problem?” Riley asked.
“You’re talking about love and feelings,” I shuddered. I learned to stop feeling awhile ago.
