I think we love to write because it make us God. Our characters only do what we tell them to do and only say what we till them to say…most of the time.
See, I take a different POV than Wyatt. See, to me, we (the writers) create & breathe life into the characters that populate our ficlets. But after that, they have free will. I always start with a foggy idea for a plot, so I direction, but I also have room to let my characters do what the want as they develop. I personally love to write because it’s an outlet of my imagination, & I can let others in on what’s going on up there. It’s easier to put it into prose than to merely explain (and more interesting!)
