I got on the bus and sat down in my usual spot. All the way in the back. I heard Lance and his friends laughing up front. Oh, what I would do to be able to sit up there. They were all so cool, and all of the guys were super cute.
“Hey Maddy!” I heard a voice call. It sounded like Lance. I was sure it was him. I sprung up from my seat.
“Yeah?” I called, my voice cracking.
“Come sit with us,” he called back. I smiled.
They wanted me to sit with them?!?
This day was actually alright!
I grabbed all my books and took a seat up front. Lance moved over in his seat and smiled. I sat down and looked at everyone who was starring at me.
“Guys, this is Maddy. She’s super cool, and sweet,”. I felt my cheeks sweltering up.
Did he just say that about ME?
“Hey Maddy,” said a girl with short brown hair and hazel eyes.
“I’m Alisha, your new best friend!” she said in a perky tone. I smiled. I knew this was totally going to be my group of friends…
