Repentance Part 2
It was simple. One deal would make everything better. Their life would be perfect, and they’d have nothing to do with this.
He stepped into the warehouse. It was quiet. He saw a table in the middle. On the table was a briefcase. He knew what he was supposed to do. He walked to the table. Holding the briefcase was a small man. He was balding, and wore horn-rimmed glasses.
He asked the man to open the briefcase. He looked inside and smiled.
“This will do nicely.â? He said, and shot the man in the chest.
“Forgive me Father, for I have sinned.â? He said again. It was near mid-day. The sun was hot as it shone into his room. The state didn’t often have executions. They were barely equipped for it. He had only been in prison for 2 years, and he was already atop the list of death row inmates. He had been bad. But repentance wasn’t enough
