The 13th Curse part 9
Jet took the sheet and thanked her. I placed the remaining of the books on top of the shelf and stood up, my books under my left arm. Before I even took one step forward, Jet stepped in front of me, and smiled again. I just blinked at him.
“Hi. You’re Natasha, right? Natasha Geade?â? He asked with the same musical voice. He was so nice, but it made me wonder what he wanted from me.
“That’s right.â? I nodded. Well, I thought, if he’s going to talk to me, I might as well be helpful. “So, do you need help getting to your classes?â?
He smiled widely. “Yeah, that would be great. Where’s the Music room?â?
“It’s right down the hall. I have it too; do you want to go together?â?
He looked uneasy. Great, I was doing fine at first, but now, I just freak him out, being too helpful.
Jet’s expression soon changed and he nodded. “Sure, I’ll follow.â?
