The 13th Curse part 13

“Perfect.â€? He strode away with a brief goodbye in such a manner; it left me to do nothing but stare at him breath taken.

That night, I had the same dream again. I was in the middle of the school’s football field, with the same massive clouds over my head. I looked up, my eyes pleading to see the sun, but all I saw was the lightning and grayness smothering me in a way that I could barely breathe. I braced myself for the lightning to shock me again, but this time it didn’t. What I did see was Jet, wearing shorts and a sleeveless shirt, standing a few feet away from me, actually holding the lightning in his palms. Even if he was far away, I could’ve sworn I’d seen his mouth grinning widely again, but this time, with his eyebrows narrowed, as if he was glaring at me. I gasped, shocked to see him so angry. Then, without warning, he leaped about 30 feet in the air, and landed in front of me, his black hair swirling in the wind, as with mine.
