I’m glad someone sequelled that, I was hoping that someone would.
And I’m not saying in my ficlet that people who hate gay people or are against gays should all be thrown into a ditch to die. not at all.
Either way you go, though, there’s going to be a few circumstances where people are going to end up not getting what they want (or, as you described, need), and I liked how you told of one of them.

i like this. it is not bigoted at all. john isn’t a bad guy, and i understand how he feels. however, even though i am straight, i still support the gays. even though someone may be different than me, i still have respect for them. after all, as a wise man once said, “strength lies in differences, not in similarities.”
