The End

“No!” I pounded the policeman’s back with my fists. “No! Leave him alone!” Kelly calmly pulled me off of him, and talked quietly to the officer while strumming his guitar. “You see, officer…” His voice trailed off, as he devoted himself to the melody. It was if he was trying to hypnotize him.
“Kelly!” I screamed, pointing wildly at the figure behind the car. He turned, and for the briefest of moments, he looked shocked. The shock quickly changed to anger. The figure was Father Ed.

“Stevie! Tell them the truth. Tell them about Jeffie!” My attempts were futile. He would do anything to protect his brother that didn’t give a good crap about him.

As the car sped away, I yelled at Stevie’s fearful eyes. “Show them the picture!” I shrieked again and again, until they were out of sight. “You!” I whirled around to face the priest beside me. “You snake! You liar!” I kicked his shins. This time, Kelly did not stop me.
“He’ll get a fair trial, Louise.” His grin was sickening. “What was I to do?” He asked.
