3: Albatros for Dinner
Bill Pillchard and Richard peck sat across from each other, next to Andy Karns and Sid Daughtry. The four quickly began sharing hunting stories. Near the end of the table sat Greg and Kathrine Piles, across from Emma Smith as they asked her about the places she had been. Captain Bell was quick to sit on the end Emma sat by. A beatifully arranged plate albatros sat in front of each person.
“So Emma, this was an unexpected surprise to have a photographer come along.”
“Well, it certainly is an angle I havent experienced with, and the stories of the beasts that are hunted aboard these JABs are almost unbelievable. I’m here (she snapped a picture of Captain bells face), to make them believable.”
Captain Bell, the Piles, and Emma laughed.
“And you, Greg and kathrine is it? Congrats on the anniversary! You won’t regret this.”
“Thank-you Captain. This dinner is fantastic! How do you get such fine bird?”
“Ah!, it’s tomarrow we hunt!”
The Piles grinned at each other. Emma looked puzzeled.
