4: Fly Fishing
“Good Morning Mr. Karns, do you always get up this early?”
“Heh, I’ve never been able to sleep past 6. So captain, I am eager to know how the Red Bell comes across its food. Surely its not all stored here.”
“Well, she dose have a good sized hold, but yes, we do stock up every now and then. In fact, we should be over the Atlantic in about an hour. There we will fish!”
Sid Daughtry came out on the deck at 7:10, and the rest quickly followed. After enjoying a large tub steaming eggs and bacon.
“Evan, put her in auto-pilot and help me with these poles!”
The old pilot left his post and grabed a bundle of rods, and then helped Captin Ronald bolt them into the railing around the sides. Lastly he Sprayed the hooks with a green can.
“Dose that stuff work?”
“Oh Mr. Pillchard, better than any bait. It keeps the little ones away, but atracts the big daring ones. My own design!”
Soon the crew were realing in “A HUGE ONE!” left and right as the JAB cruised quickly just above the water.
