Oh my goodness, I haven’t been on ficlets in so long, and I log on today only to learn that it’s going away soon. :( So sad.

Alro, I have enjoyed your stories! I’m angry that ficlets is being dumped… I hope that somebody can create a site that’s similar and even better and I don’t know maybe actually pay attention to keeping it up correctly. What I feel I will miss the most is not just the great stories and not just the comments, but the community that’s willing to say good and bad things about each other’s stories… What makes me most sad is the fact that even when I copy all my favorite stuff, the comments will not be there.

I’m actually copying all the comments with the stories they are associated with. The comments are important.

Kevin, i believe, is working on a new alternative .. so keep the faith.
