aww! I totally can relate! I was sad for a period of time too, in the summer of 2008. towards the end of last summer, i found ficlets, and it was truly a great outlet for me. thank you ficlets for opening so many doors! and thanks Bartimaeus for writing this ficlet! i wrote some tributes to this fabulous site as well, and so have many others! it is clear that this site has left a legacy that will live on in the hearts of many writers for ages! yay!

sniff I’m going to miss ficlets. I still have that note saved that you sent me long ago about liking my stories. I read it when I need inspiration. Also I must say that I am proud to have made it to your favorite author list! Thanks for being a part of my life.
