It was more like a challenge, “Do not click” implied to me an or else. Or else what? I thought. Perhaps my head would explode, or implode, or my mouse-clicking hand would wither and die. It’s more of a curiousity thing. But, yes, we folks in the people suits prefer not to be told we can’t do anything; that’s why Locke on Lost is probably so popular.
Hah!, I was trying to write a sequel tpo one of my stories, but i guess i carelessly hit “write” so it came out as a seperate story. It didn’t really make sense w/o the prequel, so i made it blank and titled it “Disregard this post”. It’s the only ficlet of mine to ever be on the most active list.
You bet I did – ‘cause I live dangerous, outside the borders, never taking anything from The Man. I’m the rebel with a cause, never settling for the rules society wants to cram down my throat. ‘Cause that’s how I roll. Lose the zero and get with the hero.
this reminds me of an e-mail my friend got once, it said do not click and she didn’t know (or care) who sent it and she read it and bacically her computer went ploosh.
Nick – I love the phrase “people suits.” Perhaps I will turn that into a Ficlet of its own?
Richard Peck – That is precicely what inspired this little experiment. I considered making this a sequal to your post, but I thought it was too unrelated. =)
BARomero – Billy Joel is the man. =)
Storykeeper of Fae – It definatly is.
Howie – Your comment made me laugh. That’s definatly the best way to live. =)
Harvard – I’ve gotten my fair share of those e-mails as well. Damn spam!
