A Cat's mind and a Serpent's Tongue - Part 4

Henry thought about the strange vision, that he had the previous night, all day. Who could that strange woman be? And what was she doing, he thought to himself. Once he filled the buckets that were piled in the barn, he snuck a good sized bowl of milk up to Seline. He considers the day to be her birthday, since he saved her a few years ago on this day. He placed the treat on his desk. “Happy Birthday, Seline.â€? He beamed at her. She purred in response. Seline lapped up the warm creamy liquid. Henry sat, to bring himself down to eye level to her. “I guess we grew onto each other,” he said, word for word as he did in previous years. “When I first brought you here, you didn’t want anything to do with me.” Seline looked up from her gift and at the young man in front of her. She does have to admit that it was thanks to him that she’s better than she was years ago, even before her spell backfired. She licked his hand.
