Back To Tuesday
Judith reached for the key closest to her, then changed her mind and moved toward the farther. Which one? She looked at the box near her feet. Did he say I only had one try? No, of course not. But, then again, he didn’t say there were two keys… Judith bit her lip until it came dangerously close to bleeding.
Finally, she chose the one farther from her, and closed her eyes as it fitted into the lock. It opened just wide enough for her to stick her lips in, and get his Name on the tip of her tongue. What’s the second key for? She asked herself, as a resounding thud flooded the cave. Rusted bars covered the only opening.
Judith came very near to screaming before remembering that she couldn’t utter a sound. Frantically, she shoved the remaining key into the lock on te bars and freed herself, before locking it behind her. I don’t want whatever is in there to get me.
“Judith! Did you find his Name?” Lucas asked as soon as she was with them. She nodded.
“Now, back to Princess Tuesday.” I cried.
