Two Keys
“Who are you?” Judith asked cautiously.
“I am Lissom.” The figure pulled off his hood to prove this statement’s truth.
“Oh, Lissom!” She cried, and threw her arms around his neck. Lucas wore a huge grin.
“How is this possible?” He asked.
“Tis the magic of Phyia. I, the willing, pure sacrifice, was once again given new life.” Lissom answered.
The chatter did not stop until the Grotto of Nom was seen in the distance. “Judith,” I said. “You must go in alone.”
“What?” She spun around.
“You must retrieve the key to the box that holds the fate of our dear Prince.” Judith shook her head.
“No, not alone!” She protested.
“In the cave, there will be a table with a key. The Box of Nom will be under said table. Unlock it using the key, and hold his Name on the tip of your tongue. Do not speak this Name to anyone, not even me! It must only be whispered in the ear of the prince.”
Judith walked along the pathway, with her chin in the air. Once inside, she found the table, but there were two keys.
