what a cliffhanger!! but after the “notoriously cruel in the city” you switch tenses. Also those sentences feel really out of place. i dont know why.

Yeah. . .I guess the sentences do feel out of place. . .Probably some grammar rule that I never had the time to pay attention to. =/

This one ficlet out of this story made a bit less sense than the others…it was just inexcplicably harder to read. That’s alright, though, for the rest of the tale compensates!

That is one good way of knowing who someone is, but the sentences themselves are a bit of a switch from the previous style.
