Ambushed at the Station

A Man sat in the drivers seat with his keys lodged in his neck, obviously taken over by the roar. Tim grabbed the keys and pushed out the body. The car was crammed with panicing people as it began to move, followed by the ones it had left behind.

Soon the cramped car was speeding between motionless vehicles down the free way, heading south.

“The radio tower, look!”

The Metal tower appeared in the distance in a seemingly untouched part of town. Some one clicked on the radio and turned it to 91.7, the recording was still playing.

“Take this exit”

The car pulled off the free way and into the city. At the end of the street was the large brick radio station, which for some reason brought relief to the company. They were no less then 100 yards from the parking lot.

The roof of a drugstore exploded with debris as a metal sphere rose through the smoke. Tim floored it, but the sphere had shifted one of its legs, blocking the street with twisted metal. Unable to stop, the car slamed into the mess.
