The glassy building loomed ahead, covering all else in the chilly October night. Cobwebs hung on every spire, cloaking the building in a musty layer. The girl shouldered her pack of dynamite and

picked up her schoolbooks. To the soldiers of the occupation, she looked like an ordinary secondary school student and would not arise any suspicion. Just to be sure, the girl put on a pair of sunglasses to hide her fear. The girl drew the window shades closed, covering the view of the tower.

On her way out, the girl kissed her grandmother. She would not be returning home.

The girl left her house, went through her gate to the street, and headed toward the target at a consciously casual pace. She had not gone half a mile when-
