When I read this and your other ficlets, I think of a Writer’s Digest magazine article about finding your “voice” – the ability to just write in your own style and have it resonate b/c it’s true and an your expression as an author. I think it is the ultimate goal to find that “voice”, and from what I’m reading you’ve reached it. Keep going – love your writing style!
