Symptoms
Later that night they all didn’t feel that it was the best test ever. The darts brought along many symptoms.
For some there was blurred vision, for some a rash around where the dart had been shot, for some the dart wound continued to bleed blood and pus.
Oliver had the latter problem, not the worse possible, but still rather painful.
That night, however, things changed.
He was sitting up and waiting for the last to fall asleep. When finally the room was filled with deep, even breathing, he opened the diary and made to write into it.
That was when his stomach lurched. Apparently another side effect was the need to vomit. The book and pen still in hand, Oliver got out of bed and ran for the bathroom.
He made it just in time, emptying his stomach as needed and then rinsing his mouth in the sulfer-tasting water.
Just then he heard the heavy clunking footsteps of a gaurd that must have heard something in the bathroom.
