Jynu stood, brow furrowed, at the window staring in the direction of the desert. He had known long ago that this would happen some day; he just wished it hadn’t happened so soon. Magic releases wind when the energy is released: the more powerful the Magic, the more powerful the wind. Wizards and Sand Women and occasionally Magicals (commoners with some Magical powers), can tell whether the Magic Wind (MW) is Sand or Wizard. Jynu, having taught Aeryn knew his signature nonsand, nonwizard MW well. He had known Aeryn had powers he did not know of, and that it wouldn’t be long until he released an extremely powerful MW that people could feel for miles. Jynu fingered a sword at his waist, he had to find Aeryn, and find someone else too. He quickly penned a note on a scroll and left it on his desk. He then grabbed his staff and put on his travel cloak. He sighed and climbed onto the sill of the window and without a backwards glance, jumped. A second later, Jynu the bird flew safely away from the Wizards Tower.
