Florence's Story: Part Four
She ran around and took in the colors, then slept in a corner that night, shivering.
While the part about not staying the night had made the note more believable, it left her without clothes or blankets, even grey ones.
The next morning she saw a teacher from the school and took off running, as fast as she could. She even jumped a fence. She couldn’t get caught, couldn’t be taken back to the grey! Never!
Unfortunatly she slipped down from the fence, falling. Her arm twisted wrong. She let out a cry of pain. It was broken.
She needed to find a hospital, so after a long while of just crying from pain she got up, walking down the street.
As she made her way down she saw a two guys. One with black hair, one with red.
The red attracted her eyes like a magnet, pain or not.
Red! Color!
The black haired guy noticed her, too, and walked over.
“You from the girl’s orphanage?” he asked, eyeing her grey uniform.
