Crossing Ficlets # 2: Zooey and Tinytina909
Zooey and Mr. Williamson were on their usual Wednesday morning walk when they noticed a young girl shivering on the sidewalk. She looked as if she hadn’t slept in days, and her hair hung limply over her face.
Zooey, curious as always went for a closer look. The girl was talking to herself, whispering into her mittens she so strangely wore on a hot summer day. She looked up at Zooey, with a scared expression on her face.
“Please,” the girl pleaded, “I need help. Someone is stalking me.” She grabbed Zooey’s arm and Mr. Williamson began to hiss.
“Mr. Williamson detects a prescense,” Zooey said in her best psychic voice. The cat growled and swatted at the girl, and looked around wildly.
“That’s funny,” Zooey said peering around the girl’s shoulder, “I keep thinking I see someone behind you, but he just dissapears, must be aura’s building.” She shrugged off the idea.
Zooey took the girl by the arm and led her down the street.
“Come on, coffee will cure the paranormal,” Zooey said cheerfully.
