Lanceus first appeared in ‘Lanceus, Prophet of Kencii’ by Fyora Cartagan. Virgil/Sweet first appeared in my own ‘Tell Me a Story About Marshmellows’. Oh, how I love challenges. Fyora is all set to pick up the challenge from here.

Haha!!! Beautifully done!! I actually audibly laughed. (which is rare, and very strange, considering my earlier mood.) It’s awesome because I live in the South, and I came up with Lanceus. And here he is stuck in the South.
Question though: Like one wonders how a polar bear knows what apples “is,” how does Lanceus know what okra is? {Especially since Southern okra is always fried, in my experience.}
Just a curiosity, well done though.

The title is especially hilarious, by the way.

That part makes me nearly cry laughing every time I read it. Hahaa…ohhh, yeah…hehe…

And just to clarify, Lanceus only knows what okra is because he hears Pistol accuse Bubba. So it’s not so much that he knows what okra is (I’m not really sure, and I lived in the South for over 6 years), but he knows Bubba is accused of hogging it. And wow, really surprised by the positive comments! Thanks guys.

But how does he know who Bubba is other than by the okra? Haha! Except he has a bowl of things, and no one else has a similar bowl, so obviously he is “hogging” it. Though how does he know what “hogging” is? Haha, that just adds to the hilarity of it all I suppose. I could see Lanceus getting stuck in the way-far-away future sometimes, and thus learning these things.
Wait…are you saying you don’t know what okra is? o.o

I love that Lanceus tried to calm them down with his style of speech. I do wonder who wanted him to find out Virgil/Sweet’s future (other than Ficleteers), but I digress.
