You should really just go ahead and sequel every ficlet written. Your ability to take a story in such bizarre, unexpected and hilarious directions makes me very jealous.

But seriously: while I do tend to agree with the Abomination, the line is mainly (I confess! I confess!) tossed in for the joke. Which maybe I shouldn’t admit, but this is a writing site and maybe it’ll help others to point out that a line should be what the character would say, whether you personally agree with it or not.
