You trudge through the thick undergrowth. You step on things that go squish, crack, and crunch, but you don’t even want to think about what those things are.

You head into a small clearing. The pirate crew and his buddies have Zoe and Joe both tied up. Both have been shot through the head.

“Well, well, look who’s here,” the Captain licks his cutlass viciously. “Boys, get ‘im!”

The sea dogs lunge forward, and you run.

There’s a loud bang.

And you closed your eyes for the last time.
