Dream World
The first day of school. What a BORE ! 7th grade was no different from 6th grade, besides more homework.
I was dozing in my seat when the alram rang. This was no normal alarm, mind you. This was the war alarm. It meant that the area was under attack. Isn’t the just great? the first day of school and already were under attack.
“Single file! Don’t panic! Everything is under control!” Yelled our frantic teacher, Mrs. Benge.
The kids were crazy, running all over the place and not listening to our teacher at all. Finally, she got us all lined up and we started down the long corridor towards the bomb shelter.
I noticed some youngins playing off in a side hallway. I didn’t want them getting hurt so I went to get them. When they saw me approaching they ran the other way. I followed them calling out to them. Why wouldn’t they listen to me? They ran and giggled all the way down the corridor. I had no idea this hallway was here before. Finally, I saw what they were running towards as they disapeared through it.
