I almost fell when I saw it. There was this huge… doorway in the middle of nowhere. It had swirling colors inside and a delicious scent coming from it.Why hadn’t anyone noticed this before? I could feel a slight breeze coming from the ‘doorway.’ It felt good, relaxing, inviting, but I couldn’t move. My feet were rooted to the spot as if someone had poured fast drying cement around them.
Then I saw them again. They came back through the portal and walked right up to me, but they weren’t human. They were strange, with tiny, pointed ears and only four fingers. They bounced around me, laughing, full of glee. Still i couldn’t move. They started pulling my arms, one grabbed each and lead me towards the doorway. I followed them willingly, thought I can’t say why. It just felt natural to follow them. As we got closer, I got dizzier. Then a wave of nausea hit me, along with a burning in the back of my throught. I felt like i was slowly dying. What is going on?
And then we were through the portal.
