The Rock Wall Climb
“I don’t know about this.” Abbie said as she looked at the wall of rock in front of her. “One of us could fall.”
“Would you rather be stuck in this cave forever?” Alexia asked.
“No, but…” Abbie started, but once again she was cut off by Alexia.
“Look, I know you’re scared.” Alexia said in a calming voice. “But this is our only way out of here right now. I promise you that we will be fine. We can do this. We HAVE to get out of here.”
“Alright. I’ll do it.” Abbie said with a sigh.
“Good. Just put your hands and feet right where I put mine and you’ll be fine.” Alexia answered.
And with that, Alexia began to climb with Abbie right behind her. They had been climbing for about 5 minutes and were half way up the wall when below them they heard a familiar snarling.
“Going somewhere?” Came a snarling voice. “You’re not getting away that easily.”
“Its the monster. Abbie, climb faster!” Alexia said fearfully.
As Abbie and Alexia climbed faster, the monster began climbing after them.
