Escape Seemed like a good Option
“Damn,” I swore under my breath. I pretended to have forgotten something inside as I walked back through the doorway. I grabbed his arm and pulled him into a deserted room. He looked confused as I violated the one most important rule. Seeing the look I burst, “I don’t think secrecy is the most important thing at the moment!”
“Well then let me be the first to enjoy it,” he tore his shirt off and let his blood-red wings stratch to their fullest, “That’s much better.”
“I’m glad you think this is so funny because you might want to know why I’ve abandoned the one thing saving our butts.”
“You’ve finally cracked?”
“Haha,” sometimes I wondered if I couldn’t just let them have him, “Actually it’s because of the group of snatchers waiting for us outside.” I allowed myself to enjoy the look of horror on his face before continuing, “Escape seemed like a rather nice idea but if you have a funnier one please share.”
He glared at me and opened his mouth to retort before a loud crash came from below.
