And the War Begins
We kept walking. I was tired and my legs were aching.
“How much farther?” I said, my voice slipping into a whine.
“Not much longer until we get to where we are heading.” The little man told me.
He never told me his name… How.. how do I know what he says is true?
“Uhm.. Sir… What’s your name?” I said awkwardly.
“Sir Holear.” Holear said with overwhelming pride.
Okay, I think I can trust him..
I looked up in the sky and imagined seeing Blake again. Even though it hasn’t been that long I missed him, alot. I hope he misses me too…
We walked alittle farther without talking. I wanted Holear to talk more, to tell me where we were going, but I didn’t know how to bring it up. So I day-dreamed as we walked.
I heard an explosion behind me. I yelped and ducked to the ground. The little man I was with seemed unfazed.
“Wh.. what was that?” I asked.
“The war has started.” He said simply.
