The judge called the trial to order. She requested that the prosecutor call his first witness to the stand. It was..April.

She didn’t expect to go so soon into the trial, but she was glad, it would be over soon.

April followed her lawyer to the witness stand. She, as instructed raised her right hand and swore her oath. Once completed she sat back in her chair and took a good look at the people in the room. She completely absorbed her surroundings.

The lawyer makes his introduction to the Jury. He sets up the night for the jury, to envision in their minds. He presents April to them, as the innocent good kid that she is.

The lawyer walks over to April and begins his series of questions.

“April, from the beginning, tell me what happened that day, in question?” The lawyer asked in a smooth calm tone.

“Well around three I came home from school with my best friend Judy. We did our homework. After we had dinner.. She left and I started to watch TV. I always do after dinner.” Judy explained.
