I never imagined I’d pass the 50 ficlet milestone when I first found this wonderful site. But hey looky-there, I did. This place has reignited the creative spark like nothing else I’ve tried has and I’m truly grateful for that.

So, I wish to do a challenge myself because I have a lot of fun entering other people’s. I hope you’ll give it a whirl.

I love the exhilaration of fear. I love to cower under the covers watching a scary movie or jumping on the biggest, baddest roller coaster out there.

I’d love it if you could write a ficlet that would scare the bejeebers out of someone. Something creeptastic or murderous, or something that makes you look twice at the basement door. I’m not fussy about how you scare or what you use to scare. I’ll leave it up to your imaginations. Think about what scares you or gives you the wiggins and go from there.

I’ll judge the scariest whenever it looks like entries are slowing down (if I get any :) This is probably a pretty lame challenge.)
