The Flight
We walked to our terminal, and got into the plane. I settled next to Emilia in a comfortable seat.
This isn’t so bad..
Over the next few hours- in the air, I realized I thought way too soon.
The air was so thin I was very feint. Plus, we were hitting some turbulence. Every time the plane jostled, I almost jumped.
I browsed through an issue of Sky Mall for a little bit then, after I got bored, I looked at Emilia who was staring out of the small window at the clouds below us.
I had the strongest notion to brush away the brown lock of hair that was hanging in her face. Instead, I casually dropped my hand on top of hers.
My stomach dropped as she didn’t seem to notice. But just as my stomach dropped, it fluttered as Emilia turned her hand over under mine, and tightened he grip on my fingers.
I grinned beside myself, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw her crack a small smile.
Ding Attention, passengers, we will be touching down in San Fransisco in an hour.

I just know I can’t take much more of this
