Truth VS Fantasy- Are Angels Scared of Planes?
“O.K., take a deep breath,” I told myself.
“Hey,” Emilia frowned, “Are you sure you’re alright? You look yellowish.”
“I’m fine,” I gulped, feeling my stomach go up and down.
Attention, passengers, this is your Captain speaking. There seems to be a strong thunderstorm brewing over San Fransisco; We’re going to run into some heavy turbulance. Please fasten your seat belts.
“Must he be so blunt?” I groaned.
“Do you want the barf bag?” Emilia started to lean forward.
“Please, I’m fine,” I said, trying to retain some pride.
Ding! ...Pause… BAM !
The plane suddenly jerked upwards. And then it began. A ceaseless up and down motion which made the world inside the plane vibrate endlessly. Lightning flashed around the plane, and for a horrible moment, the world seemed to end. And then, it stopped.
I let out a long sigh. I couldn’t believe my ears.
Emilia was giggling.
“Wh-what are you laughing for?” I was flustered.
“You should have seen your face,” Emilia was now guffawing.
Great.
