Unbound by Ethics
“The man is slowly becoming a husk of what he once was…”
“Did you think we didn’t know? Did you think we wouldn’t expect this?”
“No. It was completely expected.”
“But…?”
“I admit, I have become slightly against the project all the same.”
“Why?”
“It is unethical.”
“Ethics are not a part of this department, Dr. Kingsley.”
“And a sad statement that is, Dr. Wilhow.”
“Only to those who choose to accept ‘moral’ behavior. Only to those who see it as something to be followed.”
“It’s human nature, Dr. Wilhow. Are you not human?”
“Ha. That has been debated and surely discredited by many of my patients. Like I said, I choose not to follow ethics, and so they do not restrain me.”
“How far does that go? Would you shoot me?”
“Do you expect me to?”
“I must say, I am coming close to it.”
“Then it would not be a problem. Psychology, no?”
Bang.
