Oh Jealousy Look At Me Now

What was that feeling in the pit of my stomach? Dark and torturous, so fervent and encumbering, all full of despair. I watched Tom and Jodi kissing on my couch. And it made me sick.

Oh how wrong can you be?
Oh to fall in love was my
very first mistake
How was I to know I was
far too much in love to see?
Oh jealousy look at me now

Worse yet, it was like I really was invisible. And why did she have to wear that Red Sox cap? It was almost as if she was trying to torture me. She looks so damn cute in that cap. I can’t take it anymore!

“Ahem,” I cleared my throat.

”’sup?” Tom looked over with his damn dreamy eyes.

“Do you think you two could do that somewhere else? Trying to study.”

“Ah, look Tomsie-Womsie. Somebody’s a wittle jealous.”

It was a test and all three of us knew it. She had crossed a sacred barrier, an unspoken agreement between all guys: bros before hoes. Tom didn’t even hesitate.

He kissed her. Right there. Right in front of me. Right after she crossed the barrier. How rude.
