As a child, I was always wary around clowns, and you know what they say how children have this built-in sixth sense… so our innate fear of clowns must be for something! And it existed even before Stephen King’s It. I liked the narration in this piece, it does a good job of portraying both the wisdom and innocence of children. LoA
Good one. I’m not a big fan of clowns either. Anyway, thanx again for commenting on my stories. I’ve actually never been in a hurricane before. I’ve been in a tornado though. The table and chairs on my deck blew over. lol, thanx again.
Great story and I like the fact that it is coming from a child’s point of view. The narration and observations remind me of some children that I know. Children worry about some things that we would never imagine being worth worrying about. Very interesting! Good job!
I whole heatedly agree. I thought I’d got over my mistrust of Clowns but recently played a computer game where I got attacked by a chainsaw wielding clown called Adam. I hated it.
i know a lot of people who are afraid of clowns, but i never really minded them. they were just another attraction at the festival. anyway, nice almost rant thread from the view of a child!=]
