I was anticipating what the letter might contain from the opening line, and it paid off in spades. Fantastic sequel that is desperately crying to be sequeled itself.

I’m a month late to the party, but I’d have to say I agree with Stovohobo. This is a tremendously well-described sequel and I love the cry for help at the end. Wonder what’s really going on in that castle in the sky.
