Meeting
Davin and I were in disagreement. This did not happen very often, and it’s affect on me was complete. It always hovered over me, in his unconscious thoughts and emotions. Even when he wasn’t concentrating on it, I could sense every wish, every want.
It was frustrating, but for now, I had something much more pressing on my mind. We had (finally) convened at the meeting that was supposed to take place yesterday before we were interrupted by my brother.
Melisizwe was, as usual, calling roll in his snotty voice although it was obvious everyone was here. When he was finally done, I already knew what Ranulf stood up to say. My head spun with questions, but I listened politely while he informed the others.
“Since Project Fae has been central to our growth as a movement, we have had several researchers working on finding the complete history of the Fae, and the details of their fall… I have called this meeting in order to tell you, that we have discovered something that we never dreamed could be true…”
