Alex studied the woman at the Joust machine from afar. No doubt, it was the one from Casa Grande. Great! I time travel back 24 years, go to a “real” 80’s arcade and this he thought. If she sees me, she’ll think I’m some psycho killer after the way I stared at her in the Casa. Now what?

Three quarters to his name, no real spendable money and a full arcade at his disposal, this brought back memories. Well I should play something.

He wandered around the arcade past aging Asteroid and Space Invaders machines that nobody played anymore. He past a Dragon’s Lair machine surrounded by a group of punk rockers. The black lights of the arcade made the colors in their mohawks glow neon green, orange and red.

Finally he came to a corner that had a large back projection TV playing MTV . It was the Eurythmics Who’s That Girl? video.

Just as he was getting into the video he noticed mall security at the entrance of the arcade, the clerk from the news stand was pointing him out.

Oh shit! That didn’t take long.
