“Red Queen to Cheshire Cat. Targets located.”

“Copy Red. Location?”

“Looking Glass. About to go down the Rabbit Hole.”

“Copy that Red Queen.” A pause before her ear piece filled with the sound of shushing laughter, “Mock Turtle asks if you are alone.”

She set her jaw, but reminded herself that to grind her teeth at this point would be very unprofessional.

“No. White Rabbit is here.”

She tried to burn holes in the gauzy white fabric the other agent was dressed in with her eyes. Standing there with his condescending smile pasted on his face, looking her up and down. Judging her. As if he, never had any trials to go through.

His flip flops slapped the soles of his feet as he walked toward her. White Rabbit opened his hands to Red Queen, but just before touching her, motioned to a side door, “Come,” he said in that voice, “Let’s get you cleaned up.”

As she stomped by him, his smile slowly faded. Once she slammed the door, he pulled out a golden pocket watch and frowned, “So, so late.”
